Recent Bird Sightings
Seen on 5/14/11 (bird....count)
We had three birders, two kept birding until after 10:30. Many good views, including singing veery, rose-breasted grosbeak, Indigo bunting, chestnut-sided warbler, black-and white warbler. Woodpeckers and Blue Jays were very quiet, probably on their nests. Most unexpected sighting was a kingfisher, who rattled twice, then flew off toward the river.
